Challenges
This project started as an MVP with robust backend capabilities but lacking in design and UX. The goal was to create a seamless design system across six core products while maintaining speed-to-market. However, the backend remained unchanged, presenting a challenge in balancing design enhancements with existing infrastructure
Research and insight gathering
To better understand our audience, we interviewed Indian creators offering courses, webinars, and Telegram communities. Most were from Northern India and specialised in fields like coding, finance, fitness, and astrology. While they were subject matter experts, many lacked technical know-how.
Familiarity with Technology
Creators expressed difficulty navigating complex digital platforms due to limited technical knowledge. They emphasised the need for intuitive interfaces that simplify their workflow.
User-Centric Design Needs
Creators stressed the importance of user-friendly design that aligns with their specific needs, such as easy content upload, seamless user engagement, and analytics to track performance.
Content Creation Challenges
Many creators highlighted challenges in managing and distributing their content effectively across different platforms. They sought solutions that could streamline content management and reach a broader audience.
Pain Points in Current Tools
Participants shared frustrations with existing tools, citing issues like poor navigation, inadequate support, and lack of customisation options. They desired a platform that could address these pain points and provide personalised support.
Market Opportunities
The interviews revealed opportunities to cater to niche markets within education, finance, and wellness, where creators could benefit from specialised tools and features tailored to their unique needs.
Conclusion
This project successfully streamlined the Rigi Suite onboarding flow, resulting in significant time savings and improved operational efficiency. By prioritizing ease of use and self-service capabilities, the new design has empowered creators to quickly grasp and utilize the platform's full potential, leading to increased engagement and revenue opportunities. The positive impact across key metrics demonstrates the effectiveness of a user-centered approach in driving platform adoption and creator success.
